    On December 18, 2015, Rolling Stone magazine published their list of 100 Greatest Guitarists, as chosen by 58 people in the music industry (including Ritchie Blackmore, Jerry Cantrell, Melissa Etheridge, Lenny Kravitz, Roger McGuinn, Robbie Robertson, Carlos Santana, Stephen Stills, Eddie Van Halen, Joe Walsh, and Nancy Wilson).
