Crowning Moment of Funny: "I liked Ronnie's version better. I liked how it evokes the concepts of 'ass' and 'butt'"
- Danny's dressing down of the not-Starbucks barista about the silly names of their drink sizes.
  - Made funnier when Beth moments later in a rage reveals to him that the 'silly' name actually makes perfect sense and is used correctly, revealing him to have acted like a Know-Nothing Know-It-All dick for no reason.
- Almost any time Gail finds a spurious excuse to work her addiction to cocaine into the current conversation.

Hilarious in Hindsight: Upon seeing Augie in his LAIRE cape for the first time, Ronnie asks, "What are you supposed to be, a superhero or something?"
Unfortunate Implications: Ronnie, the only black main character, lives in a single-parent home (his father left), has trouble with authority, is very street-smart, and is obsessed with sex.
- But at least his mom isn't a Sassy Black Woman.
