Right, since it got punted off the page by some spoilsport, I'll get things started here:

Crowning Moment of Awesome:

  • Ristar defeating Kaiser Greedy in the final boss fight. It can be summed up as: Cute Star with stretchy arms vs. Alien Emperor that can summon mooks, projectiles, lightning bolts, and black holes. Cute Star: 1, Alien Emperor: 0

Crowning Music of Awesome:

  • Planet Sonata's music, especially that of the first level, really, really deserves mention. Not only is it a really nice piece of music, but it works in layers, new parts being added as certain conditions are filled throughout the level, resulting in a wonderful little BGM that goes absolutely perfectly with the lesser boss battle - which itself has been lovingly scripted to match animations with the beat of the music. That's right, the boss bops to its own theme!
