The son of the gypsy woman Magda and the supervillain Magneto, Pietro Maximoff and his twin sister Wanda were born on Wundergore Mountain in the fictional country of Transia. Marvel's resident speedster, Quicksilver has been a prominent member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, The Avengers, and X-Factor. |
