• Crowning Moment of Funny: Out of the all hilariously bad puns he makes, funniest moment of all is Vickers reading the rights to Gary after he just killed him in the second movie.

Vickers: You have the right to remain dead. Anything you say can and will be considered very strange because you're dead. You have the right to an attorney, but it won't do you any good because you're dead. Do you understand these rights that have just been read to you? Are you even listening? It would be a lot easier if you were a little more co-operative!

• Narm: In the first film, characters are creeped out by woodchopping noises coming from the woods.
  • The caretaker's completely random and melodramatic "It can't be!" when confronted by Vickers.
• The Scrappy: Julie, who is distinctively the most annoying character in the first film.
• Shocking Swerve: The first film ends with the revelation that Vickers isn't some mental case pretending to be a police officer, he is some other mental case pretending to be a mental case pretending to be a police officer.
• So Bad It's Good
