Released in 2008, Open Season 2 is the ninth film in the Sony Pictures Animation, featuring the voices of Joel McHale and Mike Epps (who replace Ashton Kutcher and Martin Lawrence). It is also a sequel to Open Season.
During Elliot and Giselle (both of whom are now a bit older than they were before)'s wedding, Elliot witnesses his friend Mr. Weenie getting captured by his owners Bob and Bobbie, who were looking all over for their beloved dog. This leaves Elliot, Boog (who is also a bit older), and the others to venture forth in order to save their domestic pal.
