Description | Content |
Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | The National Geographic Channel, also popularly nicknamed "NatGeo", is an offshoot of National Geographic magazine and a network of its own on television. Its specials cover a wide variety of topics, as does the magazine from which the channel branched off. Some examples of its topics are geography, archaeology, natural science and technology, and even pop culture. Many of the channel's shows have strong focus on time periods, from events that happened thousands of years ago to explorations of the world in the present day. |
