NXT 3/YMMV

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • Ensemble Darkhorse: Kaitlyn, the last-second replacement who went on to win.
  • Fashion Victim Villain: Maxine in the first episode. Here's [dead link] what she was wearing as "normal clothes". And her wrestling attire appeared to be an ice dancer costume.
  • So Bad It's Good: WWE didn't even try to hide the fact that it was impossible to take this season seriously, and it was no more apparent than with commentators Michael Cole and Josh Mathews, who proceeded to take the absolute piss out of the show for its entire duration, even going as far as to outright break character just to make fun and hang lampshades over whatever stupid thing happened to be going on at the time.
    • When Josh Mathews, the commentator who plays straight man no matter which show he's doing ends up spending half his time snickering, giggling, and otherwise unable to keep a straight face as well as making comments like "You realize this is fake, right?" on-air to Cole (who responses with faux surprize and giggling of his own), you know something's hit some sort of limit.
  • Take That, Scrappy!: Maxine throwing pie at Hornswoggle.
