• Dude, Not Funny: One of this show's running gags is Da Cider's penchant for bad jokes
• Ear Worm: Both openings and the first ending, as well as all of the other songs in the franchise.
• Evil Is Sexy: Gold Mountain and Silver Mountain from the DX OVA. Actually they are barely clothed.
• Growing the Beard: The series starts off like mose kid's shows of it's time, but as the series progress it became more worthy of adult attention, hence why the EX, DX, and FRESH OVA's were targeted at older audiences.
