- Ascended Fanon / I Knew It!: The brief touch on pony genetics in the cold open confirms the fan theory (backed by comments from Lauren Faust) that the different ponies can interbreed, and have a child from different type. Fanon examples of that theory include Berry Punch & her child and the Derpy/Dinky family, also speculation Rarity's father doesn't have a horn under his hat.
