Strongly inspired by Scooby-Doo and similar works, it casts its players as preteen, tween and/or teen members of a mystery-solving gang. Of course every such gang has a mascot, which the game calls the Wild Card. Run by the GM, the Wild Card acts as a Deus Ex Machina who shepherds the gang toward (or away) from the solution as needed to maintain the plot. |
