Maureen O'Hara (August 17, 1920 - October 24, 2015), born as Maureen FitzSimmons in Dublin, Ireland, is probably the most famous Fiery Redhead (and only famous Irish) leading lady in film history. She was (more or less) "discovered" by Charles Laughton, who gave her an important part in Jamaica Inn and her first starring role as Esmeralda in 1939's The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
