Houdini is a two-part, four-hour History channel event miniseries about the life of Harry Houdini, written by Nicholas Meyer and directed by Uli Edel. It premiered on September 1, 2014, at 9 pm EDT. The series stars Adrien Brody as Houdini and features the life of the legendary illusionist and escape artist from poverty to worldwide fame.
It should be noted that this depiction is very historically inaccurate, though this is hardly a first for The History Channel.
