Herman's Hermits were a British band fronted by Peter Noone which recorded many hits of The Sixties, including but not limited to "I'm Into Something Good," "No Milk Today," and "Mrs. Brown, You've Got A Lovely Daughter."
Herman's Hermits provides examples of the following tropes:
- British Accents: "Mrs. Brown, You've Got A Lovely Daughter" and "I'm Henry VIII, I Am" were never released as singles in England, primarily because Noone sang them in an outrageously exaggerated Cockney accent.
- The British Invasion
- Cover Version: "Wonderful World" (originally by Sam Cooke) and "Silhouettes" (originally by the Rays)
- Fan Nickname: Fans of Peter Noone lovingly call themselves "Noonatics"
- Have a Gay Old Time: "The company was gay" from "No Milk Today"
- I Am the Band: Peter Noone
- Lyrical Dissonance: Arguably "No Milk Today".
- Not to mention "I'm Henry VIII, I Am", which is about a guy who just married an apparent Black Widow.
