  • Complete Monster: Both used and subverted. Many times the "monsters" are simply dealing out justice.
    • The Jabberwocky deserves special mention. He's not charming, he's not funny, he's Harmful to Minors in both sense of the term, and considers Body Horror a secondary hobby to what he can do to people's minds. He's just an out and out horrific being, as well as the first to willingly become a general to The Demon.
    • Cal King and Pan are just as bad.
  • Crowning Moment of Heartwarming: The "Three Billy Goats Gruff" story and David's legacy after.
    • Another is the ending of 'The Mouse and The Lion', in which a famous Mixed Martial Artist throws his final match and his undefeated record, when already fighting with an injury that could cause permanent damage, to save the manager who took him in from loan sharks. The final panel of Sela's smile really says it all.
  • High Octane Nightmare Fuel: Goodness, yes! Though the reigning champion of is Grimm Fairy Tales presents: Wonderland--all of that particular storyline is practically RAN on it.
