Goh Saruwatari
- Voiced by Takayuki Kondo (Japanese), Brett Weaver (English), Patrizio Prata (Italian), AJ Constantino (Tagalog)
A description of the character goes here.
- Adorkable
- Battle Couple: With Anna. A Deconstructed Trope; they're good at fighting together, but this doesn't mean they don't have their problems.
- The Hero
- Hot-Blooded
Anna Aoi Saruwatari
- Voiced by Mai Nakahara (Japanese), Hilary Haag (English), Benedetta Ponticelli (Italian), Jill Fernandez (Tagalog)
A description of the character goes here.
- Battle Couple: With Goh.
- Falling Into the Cockpit
- Fiery Redhead
- Hot-Blooded
- Huge Guy, Tiny Girl
- Joshikousei
- May-December Romance: Go is 29. Anna is 17.
- Precocious Crush: She has liked Go since she was 12.
- Rescue Romance: And that's because he saved her life
- Ms. Fanservice: Anna's quite above average for a 17-year old when it comes to her overall looks - she already boasts a pretty developed behind (which she showcases both through her pilot suit and her casual choice of hot pants) and a decently-sized buxom.
- Plucky Girl: When Anna pilots Go-Okusaer for the first time, just... wow.
Dr. Kiriko Aoi
- Voiced by Takako Honda (Japanese), Laura Chapman (English), Patrizia Salmoiraghi (Italian), Kathyin Masilungan (Tagalog)
A description of the character goes here.
Shizuru Fujimura

A description of the character goes here.
- Cold Sniper: Sometimes, she gives off the cold shoulder, but not always.
- The Lancer: To Goh and Anna.
- Celibate Hero: Her feelings for Goh may be the reason she refuses to engage in a serious relationship with anyone else.
- Male Gaze: The show likes to emphasize Shizuru's enormous butt.
- The Mentor: To Anna, on a few occasions. Later becomes one to Shinobu.
- More Dakka: Core Gunner is practically a multipurpose artillery piece on legs.
- Ms. Fanservice: In a World of Buxom, Shizuru still manages to stand out with her insane E-cup knockers and an ass that's so plump and juicy it cannot fit though the cockpit hatch of the Core Gunner at times.
- Out-of-Clothes Experience: Episode 1 of the Second Season.
- Unexplained Recovery: When Season 2 begins.
- Tsundere: Deconstructed. Her hot and cold mood swings only pushed her beloved away.
- Victoria's Secret Compartment: Comedic example - a particularly memorable scene has Shizuru's cell phone ring, which in turn causes her entire bust to vibrate. Does This Remind You of Anything?
Mira Ackerman
- Voiced by Aya Hisakawa (Japanese), Monica Rial (English), Daniela Fava (Italian)
A description of the character goes here.
- Foreign Fanservice: In a Base filled to the brim with Japanese nationals, Mira stands out as the only one of two non-Japanese on Dannar Base.
- Woman Child: As a result of being trapped butt-naked in the body of a Mimetic Beast doing god-knows-what on her biology, Mira's mentality regressed to that of a newborn child. At least until season 2
- Back from the Dead: More like a coma, actually, but everyone thought she was dead for quite a long time.
- Dumb Blonde: As a result of her mental regression. She gets better in the second season.
- Innocent Fanservice Girl: During her mental regression state, she tends to go about wearing skimpy clothes that help little in preserving her modesty. Even when her memory is restored, she occasionally does something that catches the attention of the males and almost have no clue what just happened.
- Spell My Name with an "S": Some fan translations spelled Mira's name as "Milla" to match Max and Mila from Macross, but the final episode revealed that this was incorrect. (There's no English word spelled "Millacle", after all.)
Dino Base

- Bifauxnen
- Tomboy and Girly Girl: Shadow is the tomboy to Luna's girly girl.
- Shock and Awe: Genesister's attacks consist almost exclusively of this.

Vega Base
Ekaterina
- Voiced by Miho Yamada (Japanese), Marcy Rae (English)
A description of the character goes here.
- Absolute Cleavage
- Dominatrix: Subverted, Ekaterina has all the elements of a dominatrix at first glance, but episode 5 of the second season reveals that while she is quite haughty, she is also a nice person at heart.
- Fetish Fuel Station Attendant
- Sensual Slavs
- Significant Green-Eyed Redhead
- Stripperific: Par of course for the series, but given the general theme of Ekaterina's appearance, she's probably more so than the rest of the female cast.

A description of the character goes here.
- Mistress and Servant Boy
- Mr. Fanservice
- White-Haired Pretty Boy

A description of the character goes here.

- Handsome Lech
- Mr. Fanservice
Ellis Valentine
- Voiced by Yukari Tamura (Japanese), Shannon Emerick (English), Angela Ricciardi (Italian), Kathyin Masilungan (Tagalog)
A description of the character goes here.

A description of the character goes here.
- Ascended Extra: Lou doesn't become a major character until episode 5.
- Break the Cutie: The entirety of episode 5.
- Hartman Hips: What Lou lacks in the chest department (she is 12 for most of the series, after all), she makes up for with a nice ass. Especially during the final episode.
- Huge Guy, Tiny Girl: Non-romantic variety with Ken.
- Missing Mom: Lou's mother is briefly mentioned in passing with the implication that she had passed away.
- Pettanko
- Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Her primary motivation to become a robot pilot.
- Scenery Censor: This screenshot from episode 11.
- Token Loli: Lou is the youngest character in the entire series at age 12. At least until the final episode
Lowe Roux
- Voiced by Hisanori Koyatsu (Japanese), John Gremillion (English), Massimiliano Lotti (Italian)
A description of the character goes here.
- Papa Wolf: What little is known of Lowe from his admittedly brief scenes establishes that he's a devoted father.
- We Hardly Knew Ye
Other Characters
Ken
- Voiced by John Gremillion (English), Alfred Labatos (Tagalog)
A description of the character goes here.
- The Ace: He proves to be on par with or even superior to Goh during their first battle. To be fair, Ken's skill in fighting solo spooked Goh out of his wits.
- Anti-Hero
- Sliding Scale of Anti-Heroes: He stands at the middle ground between Types III to IV.
- Badass Cape: Both Ken and his robot have capes.
- Blood Knight
- Blow You Away: Gainer's finishing moves involve generating tornadoes.
- Death by Origin Story
- Meaningful Name: His name means "sword" in Japanese.
- The Only One Allowed to Defeat You: Ken is utterly obsessed with hunting down and personally slaying the Mimetic Beast that killed his wife.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: Ken is the Blue Oni to Goh's Red Oni.
- The Rival: to Goh and Godannar. A bit of a one-sided affair however.
