There's a little-known PlayStation 2 game called Dog's Life where you control a dog trying to rescue his love interest. As it turns out the villain is Ms.Peaches, a cat food maker who loathes dogs. She makes dogs into her cat food, ones that she asks her minions to capture disguised as "Dog Catchers". You've heard multiple people complain about their dogs being missing, and how they want you to find them. Considering how late you've come, those dogs are probably long dead.
