I know that a lot of cut pages have been restored already, but IIRC they've mainly been works. I've come across some tropes that are redlinked, and I figured I'd start a list of them just so we have one central place to consult for them. -- Looney Toons (talk) 21:30, 21 November 2013 (UTC)

Okay, okay, they're not mostly tropes. And thank you, Geth. -- Looney Toons (talk) 02:46, 22 November 2013 (UTC)
BTW, I'm not putting these here hoping someone else will do the work -- I'm using it as a list of things to get to. Except you're getting to it before I do! For which I give thanks, but for which I also feel vaguely guilty. -- Looney Toons (talk) 01:33, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
Don't worry about it. We knew we'd have missing pages, and your bringing it to our attention allows us to find what we can can, convert it MW format, then put it here if possible. Seriously, your help in find these missing pages is deeply appreciated. GethN7 (talk) 02:31, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
Another resource beyond just stumbling over redlinks: Special:BrokenRedirects. I've spotted a dozen or so candidates for prudepurged pages to restore just glancing over the list. And there may be other missing ones there, too. -- Looney Toons (talk) 15:35, 4 December 2013 (UTC)

Reorganized page to make it easier to read and find things that need action. -- Looney Toons (talk) 01:27, 7 December 2013 (UTC)

Assuming these aren't ghost pages that were never actually created, we need to find and restore:

Pages that have been dealt with, one way or another:

Pages That It Turned Out Never Existed To Begin With:

Pages That Were Rediects Or Other Non-Content

Pages That Did Not Exist Before June 2012

Pages not actually worth porting over

  • Parabomber (tropedex) Troper silliness and injoking

Pages That Have Been Restored:

  • Even The Wombats Want Him (trope) Found on Wayback Machine
  • True Art Is Offensive (trope) Found on Wayback Machine
  • True Art Sticks It To The Man (trope, mentioned in True Art Is Offensive) Found on Wayback Machine
  • Kuudere (has it always been example-free?) Found removed examples on Wayback Machine
  • Snarky Nonhuman Sidekick (trope; strikes me as unlikely to have existed) Found on Wayback Machine
  • 8-Bit Theater (work; I can't believe we're missing this given its frequency of appearance, but I can't find it via the search) Appears to have been found/reconstructed by the looks of Recent Changes
  • Cherry Comics (work; definitely qualifies to have been prudepurged by TVT) Found on Wayback Machine
  • Yu-Gi-Oh GX the Abridged Series (work; we have YMMV and Funny pages for this work, but no main page.) Found on Wayback Machine
  • Incest Subtext mentions that Wizards of Waverly Place "once had" an entire page on its incest subtext; we should locate it and see if it's worth restoring. (Found this and this, neither have a source page.)
    • The former appears to be a later version of the latter. As for the worth of rebuilding it by hand, I can't say. It does seem to firmly make the case for the subtext without being particularly prurient... Recreated by hand and restored to the show's Analysis page
  • Bone Thugs-n-Harmony (Music) (work; we have YMMV and Trivia pages for Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, but no main page. Glitch during the tropebase acquisition?) Found on Wayback Machine, no source page Recreated by hand and restored
  • Danbooru (wiki? work?) Found on Wayback Machine
  • Token Loli (trope) but it's actually almost the same thing as Token Mini-Moe
  • Baby Got Back (trope, deleted by Fast Eddie Jan 2012, see this cached copy of a thread about its deletion. Might not be worth it?) Restored
  • The Erotic Mind Control Story Archive (work)
  • I'm almost afraid to ask, but I saw a link on a page: Two Girls One Cup (work) (it had a very safe for work stub in 2010, no source, Wayback machine link if you're interested.) (Since it was a joke page, sure, restored. I might lock it to discourage the... enthusiastic, though.)
  • You Gotta Have Blue Hair/Tabletop Games is explicitly listed and linked on You Gotta Have Blue Hair as an example subpage, but is not to be found. Found on Wayback Machine, no source page before June 2012 available, latest version from April 2012 would have be converted by hand. Now restored.
  • Dogfighting Furballs (trope) Found on Wayback Machine, locked, no source page
Someone didn't try hard enough to find the source.

Pages we had, but just got misplaced

(That can't be right -- I remember Tourist Trap. -- Looney Toons (talk) 02:24, 10 December 2013 (UTC))
Found the page. It was created before The Great Crash, and the latest source is from 2010. The records vanish after that. GethN7 (talk) 02:48, 10 December 2013 (UTC)
Yeah but -- the trope was basically the same as Busman's Holiday, which is a better name anyway and it has more content.
