Usually in vampire shows, it's a cross or handy bottle of holy water that was handed to the superhero(ine) early in the show and which she and the audience had long since forgotten until the flash of inspiration hits. The Forgotten Superweapon is very useful in making the audience feel like either they or the protagonists or the writers or all of the above are idiots. |
