In a foreign country, Selphine manages to learn a completely different language by scratch (or by osmosis), simply by talking and listening to a stranger. All that after one sentence of her own. That's sooo believable...
- Perhaps she used a form of Manakravte to analyse her ancestors' fragmented knowledge of other languages, so that she could learn it easier. As revealed later in the story, a spell related to that exists.
  - Nope. This theory is kicked right out the door when the game reveals that, since Selphine was very eloquent in her own language, it would be a piece of cake for her to learn other languages. That... doesn't make any sense.
  - Imagine this. An English scholar, specialized in Victorian literature, goes on a trip to Japan. He wouldn't have a clue how to speak the language, since it's so removed from his own, even though he's very knowledgeable in his area. Being an expert in one language cannot make you learn a completely different one, and not in such a short time!
Selphine just had to mention to the shopkeeper that Class 4 sediments stones, which are as rare as diamonds in their country, are extremely common where she lives...
- It's a good thing she ends up getting some useful information out of it, even though the shopkeeper warned her and Ritona to not mention that they are specialized in Manakravte, since doing so would be dangerous.

Why is Ritona denying that Rune Zhevitz was "a devil person"? She didn't know her. She was never there to begin with!
- Get used to it. Ritona is not the type of person to blindly believe in facts.

The peacekeepers could never catch the suspect of the animal murders... and yet, Rudo did without even trying.
- Maybe the peacekeepers questioned the school where Rune Zhevitz was studying, and when they got to her, she displayed such a perfect facade that they couldn't accuse her of anything.

In the Flash Back, Hertzwann wants to see Cid and can't wait to do so, even though Albas warned him that he's in the laboratory and has shut himself out with his experiments. Then, when the meeting goes bad (Cid tells them to get out, then get a coughing fit. Hertzwann punches his face for good measure), Hertzwann tells Albas to "let the old man die" and to leave him alone. What's up with you, Hertzwann?!
- Then again, Hertzwann didn't know Cid was in such a bad condition beforehand and reacted with his gut.

Did nobody notice that Sara looked a lot like Rune Zhevitz? I mean, "it" called Rudo "brother" right at his face!
- Vorthal and Kirki are excused, since they didn't meet Rune or couldn't remember it at the time.
- Rudo's denying it.
- Albas did. Addressed in the next scene.

Rudo says not to analyse Cid's motivation for building Sara. But then, he immediately dismisses the theory that his father's intentions was a desperate plea for nostalgia. And after that, he comes up with his own theories! He's clearly analyzing his father's motivations, even though he told the others not to.
- That was intended to show that Rudo is in conflict with himself, since he can't accept Sara as his sister.
At one point, Sara is smiling next to Rudo, even though she had been commanded not to, and says she is disobeying her brother's orders because she can't help it. Rudo then says to Sara: "If you couldn't abide by my command, then why did you follow through with it before?" Really?! The entire point of a command is to follow it!
- If Sara said "I can't do it", then Rudo would have been angry and a punishment could have been inflicted on her. Not to mention that Sara is an automaton! Even though she has human feelings, she was made to be efficient and (get this) follow orders!
