Anvilicious: The end of Episode Two and the entirety of the Very Special Episode.
Clueless Aesop: The special episode tries to teach religious tolerance, but it falls flat, mainly due to Narmy dialogue.
Designated Hero: Jessica. Chip Cheezum puts it best--"You are a terrible role model for little girls."
Ensemble Darkhorse: Arguably Loretta--or as most people will know her, "Lugata." Chip and Ironicus seem to think so, anyway.
HSQ: Surprisingly high. Say what you will about the level of quality, this is a show in which a character uses the Star of David as a laser shuriken.
Idiot Plot: Okay, the bad guys know where the Power Crystal that allows them to win is, and none of the girls know where it is or even that it even exists. Yet instead of actually getting it and pwning everyone right away, the bad guys decide to fight the girls anyway. And the girls fight back, while still not knowing exactly why.
Hilarious in Hindsight: In Gypsy's revelation, Gypsy mentioned how she once represented hope, but after making a Face Heel Turn, she caused despair and destruction. A few years later, a show comes where all the Magical Girls represent hope, only to eventually fall to the dark side and become their Evil Counterpart, which represent despair and destruction.
Memetic Mutation: After Chip & Ironicus' riffing on the second episode and its Anvilicious anti-fundamentalist themes, "ISLAMIC FUNDAMENTALISTS" seems to be catching on.
Most Annoying Sound: LUGATA-LUGATA!
Narm: Possibly starting with a transformed Jessica declaring, in all seriousness and with "epic music," "My name is Jessica!" And it just gets lulzier from there.
- "I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE" *runs straight into electrical field*
- "I hate people, I just can't bear them! My name's Rafiel."
Unfortunate Implications: All of the main characters are white, while all of the members of the Demonic 5 and some of the Monsters of the Day are different racial stereotypes. ( Some of the members are goddesses themselves. But unlike the main characters, they were weak enough to be brainwashed by the bad guys.) A token black goddess was added years after work on the show started. But she has yet to show up beyond a few pieces of art or be given any sort of personality. There's also an instance in an unanimated episode of a minor Muslim character being threatened with death by her own father for having Western values and going against her religion by wanting to go to school and not wanting to go through with an Arranged Marriage.

The Untwist: "Gypsy's Revelation" will become this when it gets an episode.
