Centers on two very different women, Meera and Zeenat, who become tied to one another when Zeenat's husband, Amir, is alleged to have killed Meera's. Amir will face the death penalty unless Zeenat can get Meera to sign a pardon for him, so Zeenat travels in order to meet Meera. For some time she conceals her identity from Meera, and the two build an improbable friendship. The two discuss issues of loss, fate, self reliance, and love. However, these same issues are put to the test when Meera comes to know the truth. |
