• Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy: The whole cast.
• Ensemble Darkhorse: Stryker to some (including some in-show characters)
• Moral Event Horizon: Kanta and Junko cross this further and further as the series goes on.
• Selfish Good, Selfish Evil: Most characters are very much Neutral Selfish, although Kanta seems to have a bit of Selfish Good in him, and Kosuna definitely does, as both care a lot about reputation and never failing a job. at the end of the series, Kanta and Junko are revealed as more like Selfish Evil though.
• Too Cool to Live: Kanta looked to be this but he actually joined the government.
• Woolseyism: The English dub throws in a lot of fourth-wall breaking humor and also translates the songs into English.
