Well... okay. ''Dangerous Detour: The Old World'' is an original story, written by troper [[Tropers/Jaryl|Jaryl]]. It's set in a fantasy-world populated by [[Petting Zoo People]] and is depicted through the eyes of [[Main Character]] [[Name's the Same|Jaryl]] Garen, an anthropomorphic wolf.

According to [[Word of God]], this could be considered as a [[Sequel]] to ''[[Dangerous Detour]]'', though with him stating that he's not really happy how the currently written ''Dangerous Detour''-chapters turned out to be, this should probably rather be called a [[Continuity Reboot]].

In this preview, Jaryl and his [[Interspecies Adoption|adopted dragon-son]] Jin are traveling throughout the lands, a city named Essoc as their goal, as they are in possession of a weird, small plate in form of a dragon-head, which they try to sell to a curiousity-collector in said city. Not all seems to look nice and well, since it seems that the Dragons of this land are apparently out to start a war...
