He's shocked and dismayed when it seems like his wife is going to leave him for the quite justifiable reason that he is having an affair with his producer's secretary (and if his wife's song is any indication, this isn't the first time he's stepped out), but he doesn't seem to realize that he's done anything wrong... and she ends up back in love with him in the finale no questions asked.
