Boku No Futatsu No Tsubasa (ボクのふたつの翼, My Two Wings) is a manga by Yui Toshiki that ran from 2003 to 2005.

It opens with schoolgirl Hiromi being excited that her cousin Mako is coming to stay with her and her mother. Hiromi remembers playing with Mako when they were little, and is hoping he has grown into a handsome young man. However, when Makoto shows up as a very buxom young woman, it starts of a chain of misunderstandings, secrets and cover-ups.

This is an Ecchi manga and features adult situations, explicit sex scenes, and nudity. Some of this is played up as fanservice, but there is a lot of sex tied into the plot as well.

Tropes used in Boku no Futatsu no Tsubasa include:
  • A Date with Rosie Palms: Mako-chan, which often leads to...
  • Action Girl: Mako can kick much butt when the need arises.
  • All Men Are Perverts: Averted with Hisamatsu, but played straight with his friend Keigo.
  • Anything That Moves: Oh yes, especially after Makoto starts to genuinely enjoy sex. She prefers girls though, particularly after she realizes Kanna actually loves her dick a lot.
  • Barbie Doll Anatomy: Runs on the standard Rule of Ecchi -- nipples are fair game, genitals aren't drawn.
  • Berserk Button: Don't call Mako-chan a monster.
  • Bi the Way: Both Makoto and the resident Casanova.
    • Makoto starts out as fairly eager to try out sex with both men and women, but finds sex with women to be much more enjoyable.
    • The resident Casanova, on the other hand, is quite bit more liberal when it comes to sex than even Makoto.
  • Bizarre Alien Biology: Mako-chan and her "father". Also the reason Makoto has a penis; both sexes have them when it comes to her father's species.
  • Boldly Coming: Inverted. Here, it is the aliens who initiate "first contact", and not because Mars Needs Women.
  • Book Ends: It starts and ends with Hiromi opening the door, expecting somebody else, and being surprised when Mako arrives. The panel layouts and character movements are the exact same as well.
  • Buxom Is Better: Most of the guys and a few of the girls are impressed with Mako-chan's ample chest, which is an F-cup.
    • Bigger Is Better in Bed: Mako also has a penis of such girth that she even manages to impress some guys with how big it is.
  • Everybody Wants the Hermaphrodite: Most definitely, as there are quite a few girls and even guys who don't mind Makoto's sizeable member. She does skew a bit more towards lesbianism later on, as the guys are ready for her, but also not really - she actually has a penis that's bigger than that of the guys! Eventually Kanna seals the deal by being deflorated in a very dominating manner by Makoto and so Mako finally finds a comfortable sexual position.
  • Gainax Ending: More of a highly rushed ending, but it does resolve the plot in an almost lightning speed manner that is a little confusing to follow.
    • The majority of the series is spent being a kind of Slice of Life Romantic Comedy revolving around how to keep the fact that Mako is a hermaphrodite a secret with a mysterious force in the background. The last few chapters kick in with it being revealed that Mako is actually an alien, people want her to hold for ransom so they can get alien technology from her father, she then goes back to her father's homeworld... and comes back to Earth again in the last few pages.
  • Good People Have Good Sex: Despite her initial antagonism, Kanna is the first girl outside of Mako's household to accept Makoto, and their sex scenes are treated as genuinely sweet, caring and out of mutual love (and sex appeal).
  • Glowing Eyes of Doom: When Makoto's alien powers kick in.
  • Half-Human Hybrid: The main reason why Makoto is a futanari rather than a normal girl. Her father's an alien and both sexes have a penis.
  • Hermaphrodite: Mako. A major part of the manga is Hiromi having to make sure Mako doesn't reveal her little secret she carries tucked into her girlhood. The reactions are split between the two sexes: most of the girls are very much okay with dating Mako post-reveal, with Kanna even going as far to relish in all the benefits of having a girlfriend with a penis while the guys prefer to be Just Friends because of incompatible orientations (and Mako putting them to shame with her impressive girth and size)
  • Hot Amazon: Keigo suddenly becomes interested in Mako after she beats up a group of muggers trying to steal her mobile telephone.
  • Human Mom, Nonhuman Dad: Mako and her parents.
  • If It's You It's Okay: Kanna's reaction to being deflowered by Mako and also straight with Keigo. Averted with Hisamatsu who says they're okay with it but when it came down to it... it didn't go as planned.
  • Interspecies Romance: Makoto's parents. And to some extent, every romance involving their daughter is that.
  • Innocent Fanservice Girl: Mako starts out as one, wearing generally revealing clothes even though she has practically no sexual experience. Later on however she becomes much more of a Shameless Fanservice Girl after she starts to understand her dual reproductive systems and especially after she starts genuinely enjoying the attention she's getting. It's telling she doesn't care where she's fucking as long as she has some of that sweet pussy to ravish with her girldick.
  • Jerk With a Heart of Gold: Kanna, though this is less out of true jerkhood and more out of Mako having an unnerving air around her. Mostly "heart of Gold" after she reveals the truth, as she's a genuinely caring and sweet girlfriend to Makoto, fully accepting her unusual biology, and even making use of it, to boot!
  • Lethal Chef: Eating all of Makoto's bentou is a very bad idea.
  • Luke, I Am Your Father: Hiromi's adoptive mother is actually Mako's mother.
  • Making Love in All the Wrong Places: Both Makoto and Hiromi use the nurse's office (not with each other), and Mako also makes use of various other locations around the school with Kanna.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Makoto is a rare example of an intersex/futanari character also happening to be a Ms. Fanservice, and outside of an hentai work, no less. She combines large breasts with pretty impressive penis girth, and the girls are positively thirsty for her, to say nothing of guys who think she's ridiculously hot despite having a penis.
  • Older Than They Look: Ayame looks like she's about twelve.
  • Playing Doctor: Mako-chan and Hiromi as kids, leading to some amusing misconceptions.
  • Schoolgirl Lesbians: Kanna, Tamami and Hiromi, sort of.
    • Makoto shows some signs of this, particularly after Kanna brings out a bit of a dominating streak in her by giving her a very loving blowjob.
  • Sister-Sister Incest: Mako and Hiromi at the very end, although they are Not Blood Siblings. The way it is brought is a bit... sudden though.
  • Teacher-Student Romance: Mako catches Keigo cheating on Hiromi with one of the school's teachers.
  • Transgender: Tomoki, who describes herself as "a girl trapped in a boy's body". (S)he's mostly there for juxtaposition against Mako's all-natural futahood.
  • Yuri Genre: A good part, if not most of the romances are between girls. Although Mako is a hermaphrodite, her female side is clearly prominent (except during sex).
