Unlike the usual goofy nature of the series, this show actually showcased the gang getting into supernatural adventures and having to tangle with monsters, ghosts and other paranormal or extraterrestrial activity. DiC Entertainment provided the animation and the series, while still fairly comedic, actually drifted into dark territory sometimes (though not by much, thankfully; think of something along the line of Goosebumps). |
