The main goal of the show is to parody pop culture, celebrities, politics, video gaming, and everything else in a very sarcastic way. The channel started out as nothing but visual effects videos trying to be as weird and surreal as possible, but later the show got into it's current parody format. The series's audience is teenagers and adults because some of the content is mildly inappropriate for younger audiences. Despite the frequent grossout humor and scary scenes, the original audience for the show was kids, until Matthew E. Neuman (the psuedonym of the creator of the show) realized that most of the people who subscribe to him are college students and 20-somethings. The show has later gotten a second channel called 2MattTV, which is a bunch of Saturday Night Live-sketches with a different brand of humor than 1visualFXguy.. |
