Offerer of somewhat-useful advice over on the DW forums, now with his own account here. (And, since it's now mentioned on the Main Page here, the founding admin of the Poser and Daz Studio Free Resources Wiki.)

Rob would classify himself as Exopedian, and has common ground with the Association of Structurist Tropers. He might be a WikiBear, a WikiElf, or both.

Rob is both a published writer and a fanfic author. As such, he has particular views on the "proper" way to write, which don't always match this wiki's Style Guide. Feel free to bring his writing into conformance with the wiki's preferred style whenever necessary.

Politically, Rob considers himself to be centrist... but that's a Canadian centrist, which would be considered to be right-leaning in Europe and left-leaning in the USA.

Rob finds it amusing that he has been involved in two forks without having been involved in the originals: All The Tropes and Wikivoyage. Rob also finds it amusing to talk about himself in the third person in bio entries.

Because it came up in discussion with the other moderators in September 2016: There are some things that Rob dislikes in fiction - torture, rape, and sexualization of minors top that list. However, not mentioning these things on the wiki is, in his mind, the same as pretending that they don't exist - and that's even worse.

Promoted Fanboy: The first (as of July 2018) and, as of late-2022, the only person to complete the journey from average Troper to wiki bureaucrat at All The Tropes. (The other bureaucrats started at TV Tropes before the fork, or were sysadmins at Miraheze.) It took Rob four years to make the climb, and he considers himself to have been on the fast-track.
