Summary: It's a Non Canon and angsty Dark Fic with Lisa as the 'vampire'-slayer where she moves to New-York and a guy called Mark hitches for the ride when vampires attack. Better Than It Sounds, and this fic was written ten years before Twilight!

- Synopsis: After an accident at the power plant, Homer gains super powers and fights many villains, even those from other shows.
- Comments: Way, way, way Better Than It Sounds. Just give it a try.

- Synopsis: Moe tries to commit suicide, but Barney, who noticed something is wrong with him, saves him at the last moment.
- Comments: Heartwarming friendship story, hurt/comfort, a bit of a Tear Jerker, well written.
Softly by Bagatelle

- Synopsis: "I'm flunking maths, and the other day I was a little attracted to Milhouse." Bart and Milhouse in the treehouse after school, and Bart considers the family factor and feels something...out of place.
- Comments: Not a real slash story per-se, but what it actually is can't really be described. It encourages the reader to take it as they will. The imagery and descriptions of feeling and emotion are breathtakingly beautiful.
Time After Time, At Least by Screw Milk-Got Slash

- Synopsis: Smithers comes home another night to ponder his unfulfilled love for Monty Burns while listening to Ol' Blue Eyes.
- Comments: Anyone who thinks that the one-sided Smithers/Burns romance is just for laughs will be seriously sucker-punched with this. Despairing and angsty, but with a hopeless tragic quality as well.
The Simpson's In Space: The Pilot Episode by Darth Sith'ari

- Synopsis: When the Simpsons are transported to the year 5009, how will they coup? Includes numerous parodies of all your favourite TV shows, comic books, video games, novels, and movies, and loads of OC's. R&R
- Tags: Parody Fic, Mega Crossover
The Simpsons vs. Arthur by Owennumber1fan (Crossover)
- Recommended by: Super Miz
- Synopsis: Despite what the title says, there's no actual fighting. Instead, the Simpson family moves to Elwood City when Homer is put in charge of it's new nuclear plant, and interact with the cast of Arthur.
- Pairings: Arthur/Sue Ellen
- Comments: A very funny story that is true to both shows while nicely juxtaposing the adult humour of The Simpsons against the more family-friendly stuff of Arthur (see how they react when Homer strangles Bart, for example). If you're a fan of both shows and want to laugh, this is the fic for you. The Arthur/Sue Ellen romance does come out of nowhere unless you've read the author's earlier work Sue Ellen's Secret Crush though. All in all, a good story and highly recommended.
