Iconic'''''The Beachcombers''''' is an iconic Canadian television show that featured a multicultural cast in the real-life town of Gibsons, B.C. The cast centered around Greek immigrant Nick Adonidas and his log salvage company. His rival and source of much aggravation in the community was scruffy curmudgeon Relic.

The show was one of the longest running dramatic series on Canadian television, with 387 episodes spanning from 1972 to 1991. The show will air in the United States on [[Famliy Net]] on weekday afternoons starting September 1, 2011.

* [[Defictionalization]]: While Gibsons was a real town, the restaurant "Molly's Reach" wasn't - the show's producers had just put the shop sign onto the building where they stored props, in order to be able to get some exterior shots. After the show ended, the building was turned into an actual restaurant called "Molly's Reach".
