Does anybody mind if I add a hyphen to the name? We have "Single-Biome Planet", so I think "Single-Purpose Planet" should match that.

Makes more sense to keep it consistent. Less errors that way when composing wikilinks.

Alternatively, would we want to remove the hyphen from Single-Biome Planet? I’m fine either way, but do advocate for consistency.

The hyphen shows that the title contains one modifier, not two. It's like the difference between "Live-Action TV" (as opposed to "Animated TV") and "Live Action TV" (as opposed to "Prerecorded Action TV" or "Live Romance TV" or "Prerecorded Romance TV").

Also, should we compare Single Purpose Planet with Planet of Hats? The concepts seem to me to be similar but not identical.
