Rumors of War is a Sprite Comic written and illustrated by Nick Foster, and can now be found at RumorsOfWarComic.com. (It previously disappeared from its home at norvendae.com following a botched/irreparable Wordpress update.)

Rumors of War follows the travels of a group of adventurers and is somewhere between an Alternate History and a Historical Fantasy, inspired by Classical Mythology and set during the The Time of Myths. It could adequately be described as a Situation Dramedy. Or perhaps a Forensic Drama with magic (in mythical Greece!).

Though the comic has been on hiatus since July 2011, there are over five hundred pages online, composed of thirty-three chapters and five-and-a-half story arcs. The pages themselves are formatted to resemble screen caps from an SNES-era video game, and so the action is carried by questions, questions, mysteries, talking, questions, questions, questions, and more questions.
