Actress from New York born May 9, 1979. Best known for her roles in Kids, Men In Black II, Sin City, Clerks II, and Death Proof, Alexander, and Rent. She is also a Star Trek fan and speaks a bit of Klingon.
Not to be confused with either a rosario-wearing vampire or a certain creek.
This actress contains examples of:
- Ambiguously Brown: Due to being mixed (her mom is Afro-Cuban and Puerto Rican; her father is Irish and American Indian). This has led to her diverse roles, even being able to pass off as Middle Eastern in one film.
- Badass Spaniard
- Black and Nerdy
- Meganekko: In Clerks II.
- One of Us: As mentioned above, she's a Star Trek fan.
- Rags to Riches: She was homeless and illegally living in abandoned apartments virtually all of her adolescence, when suddenly a man passing by simply sees her sitting on a doorstep and offered her a role in Kids. She enjoyed the experience so much that she used her pay to take acting classes.
