Record Producer: Difference between revisions

(copyedits)
Line 235:
* Timbaland: Was a producer for three years before releasing his first solo album.
* Alan Parsons: Probably the definitive example of this trope, Parsons had already engineered and produced for the likes of Pink Floyd, Cockney Rebel, Pilot and Al Stewart before starting his solo career (or, to be technical, joint solo career with manager/songwriter Eric Woolfson).
* Daniel Lanois produced albums for Brian Eno, Parachute Club, U2, Peter Gabriel, Robbie Robertson, and others before producing his own first album. He has recorded over twenty albums as of the early-2020s, and he still produces other performers' albums. The only reason you haven't heard of him is because he's Canadian.
