Nitroplus (Nitro+) is a Japanese game company specializing in Eroge Visual Novels. Its works are almost invariably dark-themed, with an abundance of Eldritch Abominations, horror, rape, gore and violence.

They first came to general attention with the release of Phantom of Inferno in 2000, which also was main writer Gen Urobuchi's first released work with the company. Since then it has become well recognized in visual novel circles, such as the releases of Saya no Uta in 2003 and Chaos;Head in 2006, along with Key Visual Arts, Type Moon and 07th Expansion.
