Unfortunate Implications: The Fallaji desert dwellers are an arabic-looking ethnic group that has most of the trapping of Islamic civilization. Mishra even calls their war against Yotia a "Jihad" at one point. There are some sympathetic ones, but they seem to be drops in the ocean to a society based on rule of the weak by the strong, uncompromising chauvinism and extreme aggression towards all other civilizations.
