Evil Ernie: Revenge is a four-issue mini-series staring Evil-Ernie and published by Chaos! Comics. The series ran from October 1994 to February 1995, and was written by Brian Pulido and illustrated by Steven Hughes.

The series is set after Ernie has dropped a satellite on New York city, and follows him as he personally hunts down and kills all the survivors of his attack, while his former therapists, Price and Young, are working with the military on a plan to stop him once and for all. As this is going on, Lady Death, the source of Ernie's powers and subject of his affections, is tormented by nightmares as something stalks her in the Netherworld.

Tropes used in Evil Ernie: Revenge include:
  • Catapult Nightmare: Lady Death after she wakes from the first of many nightmares.
  • Harsher in Hindsight: The very first panel is of the Twin Towers in flames.
  • I Will Find You: In the middle of a fight, Smiley is knocked off Ernie's jacket, forcing him to journey through sewers, and escape hungry rats to be reunited with his friend.
  • Monochrome Past: Dr. Price as he tells the story of how he first awakened Ernie's violent impulses.
    • Justified, as the original comic depicting said events was printed in black and white.
