This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | If someone is raped in a way that can only happen in a science fiction or fantasy setting—mind control, shapeshifter impersonators, etc. -- it is often treated much less seriously than a rape that could happen in real life. The intention is that, when the circumstances surrounding the scene are sufficiently removed from reality, the viewer feels significantly less guilt for being entertained by it, since the scene as it plays out cannot possibly be reproduced in real life. (Obviously, your mileage will vary depending on your tolerance for such things.) In some cases the fact that it is rape is completely ignored by the storyline, and only the fanbase notices. |
