Originally founded by '''Desi''' Arnaz and '''[[Lucille Ball|Lu]]'''[[Lucille Ball|cille Ball]] to produce ''[[I Love Lucy]]'', the studio fell on hard times after Lucy and Desi divorced, and was the only studio willing to take the risk to produce [[Gene Roddenberry]]'s ''[[Star Trek: The Original Series]]'' (probably figuring it had little to lose). Bought out and absorbed by Paramount during ''Trek'''s original production run. Their other productions included ''[[Mission Impossible (TV series)|Mission Impossible]]'', ''[[Mannix]]'' and ''[[The Untouchables]]''.
