Beautiful Agony is a website based in Melbourne, Australia that's been active since 2004. The site contains user-submitted videos of people having orgasms. The catch is that they only film themselves from the neck up, and many people still have their clothes on. Although the site's owners say they don't care how you achieve your orgasm, the vast majority of the videos feature masturbation. Only one or two videos contain intercourse, and the partner is typically off-camera.

There are also some bonus videos known as "confessions", where the participants talk about the experience.

Believe it or not, these are real people having real orgasms. In fact, the creators say they made the site to counteract the fake orgasms that they found in a lot of porn at the time.

This site also has three sisters: I Shot Myself (nude girls taking pictures of themselves, not committing suicide), I Feel Myself (nude girls masturbating; effectively a "full-body" version of BA), and Sonic Erotica (effectively BA without the video).

Tropes used in Beautiful Agony include:

  • Secondly, the site's Gratuitous French slogan. Also, if you look extremely closely in the upper right corner of the background picture, you'll see the words "Republica Federativa do Brasil". Further down the background are tickets that are illegible except for the words "Alleen geldig op dag van afgifte".
• Calling Your Orgasms: Not often, but it happens.
• Gosh Dang It to Heck: The site's parent company is known as "Feck".
• Gratuitous French: The site's slogan.
• The Modest Orgasm, The Immodest Orgasm, The Grunting Orgasm: Well, DUH!
• NSFW: Subverted. The homepage shows a bunch of people from the neck up with their faces contorted in weird ways, so it's not readily obvious what lies within. You'd have to do some digging to find the NSFW material. The videos themselves play this trope straight, though.
  • Very very played straight with sister site I Feel Myself. If you've ever watched a BA video and thought "oh man, I'd so want to see the whole thing and not just the face", well...
  • Also played straight with sister site Sonic Erotica. Many of the recordings and podcasts are monologues discussing sex, and a lot of the "voyeuristic" recordings are recordings of different kinds of couples having sex - in fact, one of the main selling points of the site is that it's a great porn site for people who are blind or partially sighted.
