Alas Smith and Jones is a British Sketch Comedy show starring Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones, which ran on BBC 1 and BBC 2 from January 1984 to October 1998. Its title was a deliberate play on the American Western show, Alias Smith and Jones.
