A summer 2005 Widget Series (Anime First) created by Satoru Akahori (creator of Saber Marionette J, Sorcerer Hunters, Kashimashi: Girl Meets Girl, and much more) that flirts with the fourth wall, old hero tropes, good and evil and the mixup thereof, and explosions. Lots of explosions. Consists of two smaller shows, Zettai Seigi Love Pheromone and Soreyuke! Gedou Otome Tai.

Zettai Seigi Love Pheromone stars Aimi and Kaoruko, wannabe comedians and heroes of justice. As their manager, Tomokazu Seki (played by himself), attempts to find them a job so they can rise to superstardom, their hair trigger natures and motto of "Anything can be done in the name of justice!" frequently end in their would-be places of employment crashing to the ground.

Tropes in Love Pheromone include:

• A-Cup Angst -- Aimi's most common Berserk Button
• Affectionate Parody -- Sekiman, Seki's alternate identity, is a spoof of Kamen Rider.
• A Twinkle in the Sky
• Big Eater -- Aimi. This is the focus of an episode.
• Boke and Tsukkomi Routine -- The girls' main shtick. Not that they're any good at it.
• Calling Your Attacks
• Catgirl -- Evil talk show host trio Nyan Nyan.
• The Danza -- Tomokazu Seki stars as himself. Aimi Yoshizumi is voiced by Ai Shimizu. Kaoruko Sajima is voiced by Kahoru Sasajima. Other voice actresses make cameos in a similar manner.
• Destructive Savior -- So much property damage from these two that they're considered supervillains by the rest of the country. In the last episode they accidentally created a The End of the World as We Know It scenario when activating the self-destruct button that destroys the entire invasion force of the alien ant empire. Where did they all crash? In all of the major cities of the world and cementing the infamous reputation of Love Pheromone. Nice Job Breaking It Aimi but all in all Status Quo Is God.
• Gag Boobs -- Kaoruko's breasts, also the fake ones made of "Paff-Paff X" on Aimi's super suit.
• Humongous Mecha -- Provides transport, the transformation gear, and missiles.
• Hyperspace Mallet -- 100-ton variety
• In the Name of the Moon -- They've got it down, pose and everything.
• Late for School and The Chikan -- Aimi deliberately tries to invoke both of these tropes to find romance (and by romance, she means money.)
• Lawyer-Friendly Cameo -- The Grand Finale features, in order, Gatchaman, Voltes V, Kamen Rider, Uchuu Senkan Yamato, and Macross cameos. The first three are destroyed by the invading alien ant empire before they get a chance to do anything. The last two make an appearance in Aimi's "Previously On...", despite nothing like that happening in the previous episode.
• Lolicon/Shotacon -- Aimi's the first, Kaoruko's the second. This is part of their primary motivation for wanting to become stars. Harems of young boys and girls.
  • In fact, these respective fetishes were what led Aimi and Kaoruko to leave their hometowns. Well, that and the fact that their fathers wouldn't allow them to become famous comedians.
  • Aimi also fantasizes about big breasted women as part of her fandom, so her tastes are rather diverse.
• Macross Missile Massacre -- Kaouruko's power suit is designed for this.
• Knight Templar -- Even the slightest slight leads to Stuff Blowing Up. So much stuff blowing up.
• Lovely Angels -- The duo, again.
• Noblewoman's Laugh -- Maiko has this down pat.
• Powered Armor -- Both girls have it, supposedly from an intergalactic police organization.
• The Rashomon -- Episode 11. Aimi's version of things is much more rose-tinted.
• Red Oni, Blue Oni -- Aimi is Red, Kaoruko is Blue
• Skinship Grope -- Aimi loves to do this to Kaoruko.
• To the Batpole -- It's revealed that Love Pheromone's house is rigged to have slides to the mecha's docking bay in the closet and the bathroom -- and it's the toilet's flusher that drops Aimi down to the slide. The cord in the middle of the room, however, flushes the toilet.
• Transformation Sequence Stock Footage
• Unusually Uninteresting Sight -- Sekiman. He apologizes to a clerk for using the washroom he used to transform in AND goes to the top of a building in a crowded elevator in his superhero outfit without getting any weird looks.

The other half of the show, Soreyuke! Gedou Otome Tai tells the story of the five Hokke sisters, who are currently suffering from the double whammy of Parental Abandonment and Perpetual Poverty. The family consists of, from oldest to youngest, Otone, Maika, Yoku, Kanashi, and Utano. They happen to be the daughters of Mooks from an evil organization. One day, they release the Sealed Evil in a Can Akumako, an imp who rested in a vase dad left behind. Akumako tells them that to carry on their parents' wishes, they must become "evil". To attempt this, they become the Gedou Otome Tai, a team of Magical Girls bent on carrying out evil. But they're just so darn nice...

Tropes in Gedou Otome Tai include:

• Big Eater -- Otone, capable of downing ten bowls of noodles in thirty minutes.
• Brother-Sister Team -- Sister team, really.
• Breaking the Fourth Wall -- Akumako's statement of "This anime only has three episodes left!"
• Card-Carrying Villain -- Akumako, and also the Jakki Corporation that appears.
• Celebrity Is Overrated -- The younger sisters refuse to go to Hollywood after their rise to voice-acting stardom. Why they don't simply continue in Japan is anyone's guess.
• Chekhov's Gun -- Episode 4 opens with a flashback to Otone noticing a pendant in the window of a jewelry store. We don't know what it is until the near end, where it's revealed it is a Kaijin Revival Crystal, an item used to revive any dead Kaijin/underlings (like the Gedou Otometai's father), which is used by Otone to revive the cicada-themed Kaijin the Gedou Otometai met earlier in the episode that died close to the end.
• Color Coded for Your Convenience -- Subverted. Despite the devil wings and the all-black color scheme, they're not evil in the slightest.
• Cute Witch -- The sisters.
• Elemental Powers -- Water, Fire, Earth, Wood and Light, from oldest to youngest.
• Furo Scene -- Specifically, furo episode.
• Hurricane of Puns
• Instant Runes -- Everywhere.
• Kaiju -- Maika spontaneously summons three of them.
• Magical Girl
• Minion with an F In Evil -- The sisters. Every single attempt at being "evil" ends up being good instead.
• Moe
• Older Than They Look -- Maika

• Sealed Evil in a Can -- Akumako. Though her status as "evil" is debatable.
