However, those locations are always connected to the sewer system, and said sewers are inevitably big enough for the Turtles (especially Michelangelo) to be able to skate and do half-pipes in the sewer pipes.

* The sewers of [[Sin City]] are apparently pretty large. Marv is able to swim through them via the harbor and make it to anothe rpart of town in ''The Long Goodbye''. Dwight, meanwhile, takes on an IRA mercenary in the sewers in ''The Big Fat Kill''.

* In ''[[The Beano]]'' the Ratz appear to live in a sewer large enough for a number of things and the sewer enables them to easily get into the houses of humans. However the sewers have never been shown to be large enough to fit humans down them.
