* In a somewhat variant case, at the climax of ''[[Guardians of the Galaxy (film)|Guardians of the Galaxy]]'' Peter and the other Guardians share the otherwise deadly burden of holding the Power Stone among themselves (aided in great part by Peter's half-Celestial heritage). Unlike other examples, they do not all grasp the stone, but they hold hands and spread the impact of its power long enough to use it against Ronan the Accuser. |

Several people all take part in some critical action by taking hold of or operating a weapon or object -- normally used only by a single person -- that is key to the action. This can be symbolic -- an "All for one and one for all!" moment -- or practical (combining physical or mystic strength when no one person among them is currently strong enough to use the item by themselves).
Depending on the implement and the situation, this can be a subtrope of Improbable Use of a Weapon. When it's not a weapon or a magical artifact, it's frequently a Big Electric Switch or Big Red Button.
Please note: This is not "several people do something that it always takes several people to do". Nor is it "multiple people join together to accomplish something that one person can't do by themselves". "Examples" which boil down to one of these two situations will be deleted with prejudice.
