They're in the center of a massive courtyard of zombies, and even if you blast them multiple times with a shotgun point blank, then wreck their jeep (and steal the [[BFG|mounted fifty calibre machinegun]]) they'll respawn later. And the jeep will be fine. And the gun will be back.
