Tenchi Solution is a fanspeak term in some anime fandoms and this very wiki. It is named after the various endings of the harem anime Tenchi Muyo!, and refers to three different romantic resolution plots:
- Marry Them All: The trope most people are talking about when they say Tenchi Solution. The protagonist solves the problem of figuring out which love interest they like more by simply choosing all of them.
- No Romantic Resolution: Status Quo Is God. Sure, there may be an occasional Day in The Limelight episode with a bit of Ship Tease, but the lead character is just going to equivocate until the cows come home. The romance equivalent of And the Adventure Continues....
- Dump Them All: The protagonist walks away from the harem by remaining a Celibate Hero (with no intention choosing any girl, and they know this), or picking a girl completely outside the harem.
All wicks to this page should be changed to point to whichever particular resolution they refer to.
