Jon Voight‏‎ (December 29, 1938 - ) is an award-winning film and television actor, best known for his roles in Midnight Cowboy, Deliverance, The Champ, and his Oscar-winning role in Coming Home.

He is also known for his right-wing politics. And that's all we'll say about that here.

He is less well known for being the father of Angelina Jolie (who is reported to not get along with him) and James Haven.
