The two films destroyed each other, with ''[[Treasure Planet]]'' being unfairly compared to the (poorly-marketed) ''[[Titan A.E.|Titan]]'', nearly [[Genre Killer|killing the entire genre]] of traditional animation in one of the worst case of Dueling Films ever.
