** Worse than them are Possessor Ghosts. As the name implies, these ghoulish former-beauty queens ([[Gonk|who prove once and for all that beauty really is just skin deep]]) can take over the bodies of any human they come across, turning them into fairly dangerous attackers and forcing you to switch to the slime nozzle and hose the victim down until you wear down a health meter. Only after they abandon their current hosts will you have a shot at the ghost itself, at least for the ten seconds or so they'll erratically fly around before grabbing a new host. Now this would be bad enough but when they say "any human" can be possessed they mean "''any'' human"....''including the other Ghostbusters''. So you end up with a swarm of annoying enemies who can cut off your vital backup at any moment.
*Splatoon 2`s salmon run addes quite a lot of pesty Salmonoids.
*Steel Eels will take up loads of space because of their sheer lengh, and on higher difficulties, you get less space. Their bodies will also get in the way of your weapons. To kill a steel eel, you must kill the pilot, who is behind machine. These machines are awhere of this, and will try twisting and turning if you try to flank them. Bumping into their heads also deals HUGE amounts of damage.
*Steelhead fire bombs that have incredible blast radius and can instantly kill inklings. And they are indestructible to all forms of damage(even specials!). The only way to kill one is to shoot at its bombs, so they blow up in the damned thing's face. The bombs can take more punishment than they appear they can, and they can't be damaged once they the steelheads... head. Sadly, many players new to salmon run didn't know about about this an fired at the steelhead, not knowing way it wasn't taking damage. A inkling holding a charger can instantly dentenate the bombs, but it needs to be fully charged. Good luck if two of these fishies spawn at a time.
*Grillers. Dear god, Grillers. These barbegues will relentlessly chase whoever their laser points at and they can keep up with swimming inklings. Get under one and SPLAT! Grilers also takes absurb amounts of damage to kill, requiring you to shoot at its exposed tail, and then shooting at one of the three tails that pop out. Said tail is behind the monstrosity. They show up one at a time, but later on they show up in TWOS. have fun!:)
